Terms of Use
Last Updated: March 28, 2023
Hey there, and welcome to Thino Photography! We’re a wedding photography service based in Little Rock, Arkansas, and we’re thrilled to have you on our website, www.thinophotography.com. By accessing or using our site and the services provided (collectively, the “Services”), you’re agreeing to be bound by these Terms of Use (“Terms”). So, let’s get started!
- Eligibility
First things first, you need to be at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract to use our Services.
- Privacy
We really care about your privacy. Please take a moment to review our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.
- User Accounts and Information
When inquiring about our Services, you’ll need to provide some personal info, like your name, phone number, and email address. Please make sure this information is accurate and up-to-date. If anything is off, we might have to suspend or terminate your account.
- Payment and Session Agreement
Booking a photography session with us? Awesome! Just keep in mind that you’ll need to pay a non-refundable retainer fee to secure your appointment date and time. The balance will be due on the day of the session. To make sure everything runs smoothly, please arrive 5-10 minutes early. If you need to reschedule due to an emergency, there’s a $30 fee if changes are made within one week of the session date. If you have to cancel, we don’t offer refunds, but you can transfer your session to someone else or use your credit for a future session.
- Payment Processing
We use Stripe, a third-party payment processor, to handle payments for our Services. By using our Services, you’re agreeing to be bound by Stripe’s terms of service and privacy policy, which you can find on their website. Just a heads up: we’re not responsible for any issues or disputes that might come up with transactions processed by Stripe.
- Honeybook
To manage bookings and client communication, we use Honeybook, a third-party platform. By using our Services, you’re agreeing to be bound by Honeybook’s terms of service and privacy policy, which you can find on their website. Again, we’re not responsible for any issues or disputes that might arise with your interactions with Honeybook.
- Intellectual Property and Copyright
All the content on our website and provided through our Services, like photographs, images, text, logos, and designs, belongs to Thino Photography and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. We keep the copyright for every image, but we’re happy to give you permission to use the images for personal use or social media sharing – just not for advertising or other revenue-producing purposes without our express permission.
- Image Delivery and Retouching
We know you’re excited to see your gallery proofs, and we’ll have them ready for you within 7-14 days of the session, delivered through an online gallery. We’ll add basic retouching to all images, but if you want more extensive retouching, there might be an extra charge, which we’ll decide.
- Limitation of Liability
Please note that Thino Photography and our affiliates, employees, or agents can’t be held liable for any indirect, special, incidental, or consequential damages that might arise from using our Services, even if we’ve been advised of the possibility of such damages.
- Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by and follow the laws of the State of Arkansas, without taking into account conflict of law provisions. You’re agreeing
